Niagara Records Music Player Flash Application

The projected goals of the users who will visit the website and use the application are:
Entertainment, e.g. listening to music, surfing
Information, e.g. finding information about the most popular music, new releases, artist bibliography and discography, looking for suggestions about other artists with similar style or genre, subscribe to mailing list
Obtaining, e.g buying CD from label’s online catalog or music downloading
Based on the projected user goals, we have decided the following features are needed in the application:
The media player will be in a frame that would stay in its place even when user browse away from the page
It will have media controller (play/pause, next, previous, volume control button, status bar)
It will have a small display area to display a blurb on the artist/album that is being played
Meanwhile, the following features will be available in the website:
It will have a search box and other navigation feature on the top frame of the page
The search result, online catalog content, and featured artists information will be displayed on the middle frame
