OVERVIEW:

INTERACTION DESIGN is concerned with the experiences of users in relationship to computer (and other) systems.

How do we interact with computing systems? How can we design interfaces that are easy to learn and efficient to use? How can we build responsive environments that empower and educate? Or that provoke a sense of amazement and wonder? How do new media artists lead us into unexpected and thought-provoking relationships with technology? What can focusing on the experience of users teach us about tackling problems of many types?

To complete assignments you will primarily be using Adobe Flash. Not everything in the course will be done using a computer, however.
